MANCHESTER, Md. - Rose Mary LoPorto Millington, 72, a former Troy resident, died Friday, June 28, 2013, at her residence in Manchester, Md., surrounded by all of her loved ones in the comfort of her home.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore LoPorto and Anna Pignone Loporto .
Raised and educated in Troy, she was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.
She was a secretary with the New York State Department of Corrections.
Rose Mary was devoted to her family and they were a source of deep joy to her. She was actively involved in attending and watching her grandchildren play sports.
She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
The memory of her vitality and generosity of spirit will remain well into the future.
She was a woman of faith and a communicant of Our Lady of Victory in Troy and Saint Bartholomew in Manchester, Md.
Survivors include her children, Christine Paone (Keith Hall) of Troy, Steve Millington (Donna) of Manchester, Md., and Anne Millington of Troy; and her grandchildren, Chas Tangredi, Anthony Paone, Gabby Tangredi, Franco Millington, Nick Millington, Stephen Millington, Anthony Millington and Nicholas Millington.
Rose Mary was predeceased by her daughter, JoAnne Millington Tangredi, who died in 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013, from McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church on North Lake Avenue in Troy, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 1, at the funeral home.
