TROY - Susan M. (Bronk) McCullough, 68, formerly of Lansingburgh Apartments, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Susan was born in Watervliet to the late Edwin N. and Marguerite Waddington Bronk.
She was a lifelong resident of Troy, most recently residing at Eddy Heritage House. She was educated in Troy public schools.
Susan worked in housekeeping for many years, employed by both Leonard and St. Mary's hospitals.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church of Lansingburgh, the former United Methodist Church of Lansingburgh and Grace Methodist Church of Troy.
Sue enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her friends and family as well as her church family.
Sue is survived by a sister, Ruth A. Bronk Stewart of Alba, Mo.; her brothers, Charles M. Bronk of Troy, William A. (Mary) Bronk of Castleton, Walter F. (Rose) Bronk of Lowell, Mass., Raymond J. (Linda) Bronk of Troy and Harold R. (MaryAnn) Bronk of Troy; her sister-in-law, Carol Bronk; many nieces and nephews and several grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
Besides her parents, her husband, Gerhard T. McCullough, and a brother, James R. Bronk, predeceased Susan.
Susan will be reposing Tuesday, July 30, 2013, in the chapel at Riverview Funeral Home Inc., 218 2nd Ave. at the corner of 104th Street, Troy. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 until 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, from Riverview Funeral Home, with the Rev. E. Allen Siebold, pastor of Cornerstone Community Church of Lansingburgh, officiating.
Her interment will follow at Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
