Thomas R. Carroll, "Tommy," 50, a former Latham resident, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the Samaritan Hospital.
Born in Troy on November 8, 1963, he was the son of the late John F. Carroll and the late Gloria (Gannon) Carroll. Tommy was raised and educated in Latham and worked for SUNY in Albany for 10 years.
Tommy is survived by his sister; Anne Martin (Sheridan) of Lansingburgh, his sister-in-law; Christine Carroll of Brunswick, his nephew; Daniel Carroll (Mary) of Albany, his aunt; Helen Maier of Lansingburgh, also survived by many loving cousins, family and friends, that will remember him as a loving, joyful spirit.
Tommy was predeceased by his mother, his father, and brother, John T. Carroll.
Funeral service will be held at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from Mc Loughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh, and 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church, Lansingburgh. Burial will be in the spring at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Cambridge.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
