Helen A Brady Obituary
TROY - Helen A. Brady, 76, of Sixth Avenue, entered into eternal life on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Samaritan Hospital, surrounded and in the loving comfort and care of her family .
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Francis Cote.
Helen was employed for more than 35 years at Samaritan Hospital as a nurse's aide.
She was a former communicant of the former St. Patrick's Church and was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church .
Helen enjoyed her family and was very devoted to them. She also enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, James J. Brady, whom she married on July 15, 1957, he died in 1989, and her sisters Anne Falsen and Lillian Cote.
Survivors include her loving children; Theresa A. Brady, James W. Brady, Roxane M. (Valentino) Fiacco and Kathleen A. (Denny) Haughney, Her grandchildren; Joey, Jake, Crystal, Mark (April) , Melissa, Haley and Nickolas, her great grandchildren Schareik, Shawn, Shalynn, Jayvein and Camryn, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Helen is also survived by her best friend Betty Kreiger.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave., Troy, followed at 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Calling hours will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Samaritan Hospital and Hospice of Rensselaer County for all the care given to Helen.
Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to the , 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
