Obituary Condolences

MOORE, FRANCES TROY - Frances R. Moore, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at The Eddy Heritage House. Born in Mechanicville she was the daughter of the late Paul Dominique and Ellen Hunter Dominique and beloved wife of the late Edmund T. Moore, who died September 5, 1972. Frances was a former Seventh Avenue, Lansingburgh resident and also resided in Wynantskill for 31 years. Mrs. Moore worked as a bookkeeper for the former Callahan's Restaurant in Troy for 15 years and retired as a secretary for the Rensselaer County Historical Society after 8 years there. She was a former communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill and of St. Patrick's Church, Troy. Survivors include two children; Frances E. Johnson (Robert) of Clifton Park and Paul Thomas Moore (Erika) of East Greenbush; three grandchildren, Jeannine Pappas of Watervliet, Rene Viviani (Rob) of Maplewood, NJ. and Danielle Moore (Art Eastman) of Niskayuna, four great grandchildren; Christina and Andrea Bunting, Caleb Eastman, Lucas Viviani as well as several nieces and nephews. Fran was predeceased by a brother Paul Dominique and two sisters Mena and Laura Dominique. Our blessings and thoughts go out to the second floor nursing staff, aids and housekeeping staff at the Heritage House of Troy for all they did for our beloved Frances. Their understanding, love, care and compassion go beyond what was expected. In addition, the Community Hospice of Rensselaer County was outstanding with their support and devotion for comfort offered to Frances and her family. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 55 North Lake Avenue. Troy. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Troy. Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p. m. Monday prior to Mass at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. Memorial contributions can be made to Rensselaer County Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144.
