Lobellia Richburg TROY - Lobellia Richburg, 92 of Seventh Avenue, entered into eternal life on Sunday, November 4, 2012 after a long illness. Born in Luverne, AL, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Jamie Redmond Lewis and was a graduate of Luverne High School. She was the beloved wife of 64 years of the late Mack R. Richburg, who died on February 9, 2005. Mrs. Richburg was a homemaker. She had been a member of the Fifth Avenue A.M.E. Zion Church in Troy as well as the Troy Elks BPOE #141. Mrs. Richburg loved cooking for her children and grandchildren and enjoyed and focused on her family which she felt was most important. She also loved to keep current with daily newscasts and newspapers. She leaves to mourn her death, daughter Elaine (Lindsey) Moore of Albany. She was predeceased by son, the late Benjamin E. “Benney” Richburg and daughter Virginia Richburg and her 8 siblings. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Home Going service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Fifth Avenue A.M.E. Zion Church, 189 Fifth Avenue (at the corner of 103rd St), Troy, NY 12180, where Rev. Robert L. Linder, Pastor, will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Church on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
