Met Paul during 7th grade at Fickett Jr. High school. We both played on the basketball team, however, he was good and I was short and less talented. Great man and friend.

I was unaware of Paul's passing. I knew Paul from high school basketball as a competitor. My most deep and sincere condolences to Paul's family and fast friends. I last visited with him at his PCHF induction ceremony and joked that we thought his sport was BB because he was so competitive and such a challenge to the PHS Warriors. Come to find that his sport was SWIMMING! He was a championship swimmer dang it! He was just doing BB as a side sport. I respect Paul and all his many accomplishments in his 68 years. He was gone too quickly and it saddens me greatly. I liked Paul alot ; he was not only a great athlete, student mentor and an excellent coach, but a graceful and fine human being. See you on the side Paul. Bobby C.

My most sincere condolences to Paul's family. As a 1966 Pueblo High School basketball player. I met Paul on several occasions as an opponent. What a player and what a fine person he was. I am saddened by his passing and I only wish I had visited with him more often. Que vayas con Dios mi amigo.

Paul and I shared the Pueblo swimming pool as we coached our teams--he with Cholla High and I with the Pueblo team. He was always a kind, sharing gentleman, very professional and easy to work alongside. I shall miss him. My condolences to Colleen and the family.

I wish to add my most sincere condolences to the Dull family. I played football at Palo Verde High with Paul and thank goodness for his great set of hands. But I will give Paul the highest regard that I can think of; that of Gentleman. He was always the sincere gentleman and I know he will be missed by many.

I met Paul when I was about 12 years old when he was hired by my dad, Glen Harcus, to be the swim coach at Skyline Bel Aire Estates. It was a small team but he kept us swimming and winning.
I am sorry for your lose and hope time and memories will heal your hearts.
My deepest sympathy,
Pennie Harcus
