Memories and Condolences
for Jennifer Miller

Not sure what to say?

August 7, 2020

I was a friend of Jen's brother, and I have many fond memories of Jen over the years, though I knew her indirectly. I always admired the affable and kind relationship between Jen and Chris (in contrast to myself and my own sister, who were constantly bickering). Chris was a nurturing brother, and Jen was sweet, friendly and bookish as a kid. Chris really seemed to enjoy her company, and vice-versa, despite the age gap. They even shared some of the same interests with respect to games, and I had the sense that Jen and Chris shared a similar goofy sense of humor. Likewise, when I interacted with her I was impressed at how adult she seemed.

I remember the beginning of her teenage years when she began to really come into herself -- then I was impressed by her stylish self-assuredness and striking individuality, something that is difficult for most young teens. Over the years I have often recalled fondly these memories, and feel sorrow for Jen's light leaving this world so soon. My deepest condolences.

Although it has been years since I had last seen Jenny, I still remember her beautiful smile. She used to come out to the barn with me and we would ride together. No matter the age difference, people are always brought together through the love of horses. She was a great person and this is a huge loss. I hope, for the both of us, there are horses up in heaven.

We will continue to be praying for you and pray for the Lords peace that surpasses all understanding to encompass you and carry you through this season. May the Lord bless and keep you and make His face to shine upon, may the Lord be gracious unto you and give you His peace (Number 6). With much love in the Lord

My name is Wes. I can't say that I knew Jen very well, she was in my English class. But from the little time I knew her I saw something special. She was so very bright, not just smart but the kind of bright that lifts your spirits to see her smile and glance around and wonder what she's thinking. When I learned about her departing on Monday, I couldn't help but feel a sense of great loss. I still see her sitting in her chair curled up with "Bless Me Ultima" in her hands. That's how I will always picture her. I will miss her, and I give you my sincerest condolences, know that She will live on in my thoughts as an angel of hope.

Jenny and I were friends at Cross. She was an awesome person and very outgoing, talented, and fun to be around. I hoped that we could visit on one of my trips back to Tucson, but she will remain always, in my thoughts and heart as a great friend, and even better person. My deepest sympathies to her family

Dear Miller family,

I'll miss Jen tremendously. She was a beautiful girl, with an outstanding spirit, a genuine and dependable friend. She was always there to help me through my hardships.

I'll keep her close to my heart, always. She has influenced me and inspired me in a way that no one else has. I can't help but find small fragments of her, in little things we used to joke about, music we used to listen to, and things we had discussed. Theres a piece of her in every single second of every single second day.

There were so many of us, so lucky to have caught of a glimpse of the beauty and virtue that practically spilled out of her pores.

I intend to continue to come by the house and visit. My good thoughts are with you guys.

All my love,

Barb Sands

My most heart felt condolonces to Jennifer's family. I did not know Jennifer but my heart aches for the loss of this beautiful and talented child. I don't imagine but know the pain the family is going through since I too lost my precious daughter, Bianca, seven months ago. Bianca was also a student at Jennifer's school. The loss of Jennifer is a horrible one and I pray that God give you peace. The pain never goes away but it is something that you learn, very slowly, how to live with ( I am just learning). May her memories stay alive within you. The sorrow that accompanies the loss of your child is uncomparable but know there is a lot of support and good people that will let you lean on them. Your beautiful Jennifer will forever and always live within you and around you, for the deep love you felt for her and she felt for you could never be lost but will always be a part of you. May those beautiful memories Jennifer created stay dancing in your heart forever, for she is now dancing and smiling in a much better place as she watches over you.

My sympathy and special thoughts are with you.

Jen was an amazing photographer in my first period digital photography class. She had such a creative eye and was beyond talented. As her teacher, I saw an incredibly bright young woman, full of passion for the things and people whom she loved; as her friend, I saw a beautiful young woman that I adored very much. Jen, you and your family and friends have been in my thoughts and prayers every day. I love you chickie. --Ms. San Jule
