Billy Ray Pratt

Billy Ray Pratt Was born on July 25, 1930 in Sikeston, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Eleanor and two sons by his first wife, David and Richard Pratt. Billy was the youngest of five children, all deceased now. When he had finished two years of college he decided to join the Air Force. He trained to become a navigator-bombardier. Some of his career included night flights over Russia with a live Atom bomb in their B-52. Later he worked with the drone programs. He retired after 22 years of service. He came to Sacramento because he had family there, his mother, a sister and a brother. He met Eleanor there and two years later they were married. Five years later they moved to Tucson because of the mild winters. They enjoyed 22 years in Tucson. Now he is with the Lord in the only place we know of that is better than Tucson. Visitation 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2013 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Sabino Road Baptist Church, 2710 N. Sabino Canyon Rd. Interment 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Sierra Vista, AZ, with Military Honors by Davis Monthan Base Honor Guard.
