Carl "Bull" Hazlett born in Tarentum, PA June 7, 1938, was called to Heaven September 28, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Nancy D. Hazlett; six children and stepchildren, Craig (Brenda) Hazlett, Christie (Tim) Allen, Darin (Cyndi) Fila, Susan (Bryan) Goldsmith, Debbie (John) Kern and Richard (Becky) Dishner; 14 grandchildren and sister, Janice (Harold) Cunningham. Carl loved his family, his God, the practice of law, his Wildcats, the Tucson Conquistadores, and life in general. As one of the founders of youth football in Tucson, he enjoyed seeing the organization grow to what it is today. He was inducted into the Tucson Conquistadores in 1969, served as PGA Tucson Open Tournament Chairmen in 1986, and represented the Conquistadores on the American Golf Sponsors Board for ten years. Carl served on the Board of the Tucson Conquistadores Foundation, and was the President of the La Paloma Country Club for two years. "Bull" came to the University of Arizona on a football scholarship in 1956. He was a four year letterman. After graduating from the University of Arizona Law School in 1963, he maintained a very successful, fulltime practice until his death.
