Cherie Van Dyke Adams

ADAMS, Cherie Van Dyke, was born March 1, 1917 in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey, and died June 1, 2010 in Tucson, Arizona. Cherie was predeceased by her husband Theodore Shaffer in 1999, as well as her mother Adrian Van Dyke Adams, who operated an art and antique business, Adrian's of Budapest, in Tucson for many years. Cherie was well known internationally as an art restoration expert, and she specialized in Oriental Art. She received her education at Boston College and Wellesley, and studied under restoration masters throughout Europe. Services Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.
