John Sidney "Bud" Henaughan

John "Bud" Sidney Henaughan 82, passed away peacefully December 7, 2012, in Tucson, Arizona, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. John was surrounded by his daughter, Jane; son-in-law, Matt and granddaughters, Breana and Aubrie. John was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on September 21, 1930. He served in the National Guard from 1948 to 1951. John then served as a Sergeant in the United States Army and worked as a mechanic from 1951 to 1955. He also served in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, and Marksman Badge. Once he retired from the service, John was a hydraulics and pneumatics salesman. John was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Margaret Henaughan (nee Reilly); his sisters, Betty (Jake) Jakoubek and Mary Lou (Lyle) Busse. He is survived by his brothers, James (Wilma) Henaughan and Rick (Mary) Stough. John was the father of Steve Henaughan, Diane (Ken) Poston, Peggy (Marc) Klemp, Timothy (Lori) Henaughan and Jane (Matt) Smith. He is survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Sean and Shane Henaughan, Maureen and Merissa Poston, Jared and Nicholas Klemp, Britney Henaughan, Whitney Smith, Breana (Ben) Koughn and Aubrie Smith and great-granddaughter, Sydney Henaughan.
