I met Sam through the PS Civitan Club which Elsa and my son are both members. Sam would always be sitting out in his van waiting for Elsa during our meetings. I could NEVER convience him to come in and join us. Many times I would stay outside and just talk with him for a while. He would always talk about his beautiful wife Eva, and how she was the love of his life and the best woman a man could ever ask for. He would tell me little tidbits about Micheal, Randy Ronnie, Elsa and his days as a Marine. But there was one thing I noticed Sam always came back to... that Eva and his children and the unconditional love he had for them.
Sam, may the wonderful Family and many Friends you have left behind find comfort and peace knowing you are now with Eva and are at rest. You will not be forgotten my Friend!

To The Carpio Family--Our thoughts are with you on this day. Sam always had a smile and good word for everyone. He will be missed. He was a Family Man and after Eva's passing he devoted his life to caring for Elsa. That will be remembered by the Man Upstairs. Our blessings to all of you. --- The Asadourians –

To the Sam & Eva Carpio family:
Sam and Eva were great neighbors when we lived on Sarnoff. Many good memories of both of them and you are held. May you find comfort in each other and your memories of them. How fitting Sam's service to be on Veterans' Day.
