Lucille Cisler Obituary

CISLER, Lucille Theresa Seeber, passed away in Tucson, AZ on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the age of 84. Lucille was born on November 13, 1926 to Egedius Seeber and Theresa Hammel Seeber in Rantoul, IL. Lucille moved to Tucson at the age of 17 with her mother and attended the University of Arizona. She married William George Cisler on August 8, 1950, and together they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2010. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband, spending time with her family, and riding on the back of Bill's Goldwing. Lucille was a kind and gentle daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. For those who loved her, she was an angel here on earth, and now in heaven. Lucille is survived by her husband, Bill; her three daughters, Theresa, Carol and Dorothy; her six grandchildren, Tonya, Aubrey, Madison, David, Laura and Daniel; her three great-grandchildren, Trayton, Oliver and Cosette and her dog, Sushi. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Tucson Meadows Retirement Community in the Community Center located at 2121 S Pantano Road (between 22nd and Golf Links). Arrangements are entrusted to the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 326-4343.

Without the kindness and generosity of Mrs. Cisler, her husband and daughters, I would not be an attorney. I have carried her and her family in my heart for well over 35 years. My four children are attorneys, an opportunity made possible by the Cisler family helping me. I wish to express my condolences, gratitude and love to the Cisler family. Tom Kalm.

Deal Carol and family,

Sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. Though I never had an English Class with her, I know from classmates that she was well respected and a fine teacher. I know the loss is very recent, and that time takes the edge off the hurt, but always remember the love, and laughter. Next time you think of her, smile, and know she's where God wants her to be.
