Esther Lopez Foust

Esther Lopez Foust 8/14/1923 – 4/8/2011 Passed away peacefully on April 8, 2011 after a short illness in Tucson. Born August 14, 1923 in Bowie, Arizona to Pablo and Guadalupe Sanchez Lopez and moved to Tucson as a child. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Esther graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing and became a LPN and was employed by Pima County Hospital where she retired after 20 years of dedicated service. Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Harry Foust; her parents, Pablo and Guadalupe Sanchez Lopez; sisters, Teresa Federico, Mary Majalca, Marina Moran and brothers, Raul Lopez and Severo Lopez. Esther is survived by her two sons, David (Georgene) and John Mark of Tucson; two grandsons, Chip (Sue) Foust, Tucson, AZ and Scott (Cheryl) Foust of Gilbert, AZ and three great-grandchildren, Tripp Foust of Tucson, Michael and Katy Foust of Gilbert, AZ and is also survived by sister, Pauline and brothers, Aurelio (Delia) and Ray (Beatrice) along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation and Viewing will be held Friday, April 15, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. with a Graveside Services to follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Road at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Mobile Meals of Tucson, 3003 S. Country Club Rd. Suite 219, Tucson, 85713 or your favorite charity.
