Leah Susan WHITE

WHITE, Leah Susan 84, peacefully entered heaven January 3, 2017. Born in small town Anna, IL; October 5, 1932. Played clarinet in band and worked picking peaches summers. She graduated Salutatorian of her class at Anna-Jonesboro High School and worked as a Bank Clerk. In 1952, she moved to Arizona with parents, Gladys and Jerry and met her husband; while working at Hughes Aircraft as a Stenographer. She went on to work for various CPA firms. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She also remained active serving in her church and in the Cadillac and Thunderbird Clubs. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bruce White; son, Steve (Kristie); their children, Kaleb, Kyle and newborn Samantha; daughter, Sandra (John) with their children, Andrea and Jeremy. Also survived by her brother, Louis. A Celebration of Life will be at El Camino Baptist Church, 7770 E. Speedway Blvd. on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
