Lester Alvin Plattner

Lester Alvin Plattner 91, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Goodfield and Peoria, IL, passed away surrounded by his immediate family on May 1, 2011. He joins Anna, his loving wife of 62 years, who passed away three years ago. Les is survived by his two children, Kenneth Plattner (T. Claire O'Connor) and Leslie Dickinson (Bill) all of Tucson and his two grandchildren, Nikos Galpin-Plattner and Lacy Rohen. Les was a loving, caring and generous husband, father and grandfather. He was a man of deep faith and conviction. He will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Apostolic Christian Church, 9545 Magnolia Ave., Tucson, Arizona, 85781.
