Having known Rudy since the early 70's, I have admired his dedication to research and a quality life. The redwoods and all of us who knew him are better off for his presence.

Rudy was the best big brother ever. He paved the way and set an example that one could only hope to follow.

I so loved and was inspired by my uncle, my father's eldest brother, and I miss him deeply. His positive words and encouragement will stay with me forever and I hope to gain a better understanding of his strong faith. Our family was so positively impacted by him, especially our 8 y.o. son, Rudy's great nephew. Our prayers are with his brother and the many members of our family.
