Sybil DuBose COWARD

COWARD, Sybil DuBose 93, went HOME to be with the Lord and her family on December 2, 2016. She was born July 16, 1923 in Turbeville, South Carolina, was raised in Columbia, SC, and graduated Valedictorian of Olympia HS. She married Clarence Leroy Coward Jr. in 1942 and had two children, Clarice (Coward) Schroeder and Michael Coward. The family moved to the Phoenix area in the mid-forties and to Tucson in 1956 to help establish the AZ Air National Guard unit. Sybil had two grandsons and seven great-grandchildren. Her strong character and southern charm will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Thanks to the caregivers at Home Instead and the staff at Peppi's House. Special thanks to Andie for her love, devotion, and the "Friday Song". Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 8, 2016 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY. A Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
