Clara I want to thank you for all the times you welcomed me into your home. Barbara Martinez and I were good friends for many years. In high school you allowed us to have many great parties at your house. I guess that was your way of keeping us safe and happy. I loved Barbara & still miss her, but I am glad you and her and Felix are finally united again. I am so glad you had a wonderful life and so many people who you loved and loved you in return. My God bless and comfort them all.

Nana, I love you and I will miss you so much... You were such an amazing woman and was such a fireball.... A Martinez by blood.... I am so proud to be you're great granddaughter...I will always remember our trips to California and us plotting ways of making ourselves taller to get ourselves in the rides at Disney land... You reading stories to me on long car rides while playing with my hair.... I'm also very happy my daughters and husband got to meet you and see yor personality shine.... My kids both learned something while we stayed with you... Gabriella proved she was potty trained and little hailey started walking... I have videos of you telling her "one step... Two..." They even remember you telling them they'll get a Mexican punch if they don't behave haha... They love you like I do... I am having trouble accepting you're absence but I'm so happy you get to see nana Barbara and your son and brother... Please tell nana Barbara hello for me... You're no longer in pain and I bet your not tired anymore.... You're free and we will miss you like no other... God bless you nana!

My condolences to all the families such as Martinez, Escalante, Holguin's. We all know the kind of lady Clara was........I will never forget her stories and always making us laugh. She loved all her family the same.....she always made us feel special. We would visit every once in awhile when our kids were young and we lived in Las Vegas....she was always ready to make us food. Best beans ever......and my Jennifer she would call her Jestifer and Jennifer would ask me why she would call her that. Tia Clara would say because you look like a Jestifer and not a Jennifer. LOL Clara, you are in comfort now and in Heaven with your angels that have been waiting for you. Say hello to Nacho, Rita and Licha Escalante. May your soul rest in peace. Con muncho carino Beto, Tina and the whole Escalante bunch.

Nana, I love you and will miss you. You were my inspiration. You treated everyone as equals and as if they were your own. That takes a very special person. I have bittersweet emotions Nana. I'm sad that you are gone from my life, yet happy, that you are home with your children.
