RIP David. Thank you for all the good times we shared during Sunday softball. I also would like to thank your wife for sharing you with all the ballplayers that participated in your sport program. You did so much for the people of the barrio and will always be respected for your efforts and dedication.

Commisioner David, I met you back in 84 or 85. I played softball with the Bambi's in the Orphan League. I enjoyed talking with you and hearing your stories of how many people you helped through sports. Mostly I remember your genuine love for the people around you. When you came around to the parks, it was more than just 'ball, we talked about ball, life, family. You will be missed but more importantly you will be remembered.
Norma, Tony and family, our deepest condolences and prayers go out to you. Your dad, tata and our friend was a great man.

"Commissioner", as we Softball/Basketball/Volleyball players called you. You were truly one of a kind. Because of you many of us would have never known the games. I for one played with "Tu Sabes" at Oury Park when I was a teen. I truly admired you. I am honored to say that my family got to meet and interact with you. Truly a man of many words!
You will be missed Dave. Thank you for all the great memories. I always think of you when I drive by Oury Park and see you on the mural.
RIP and I truly hope you have met up with your "sweetie".
See you on the other side.
To his family, our heartfelt condolences.
