Edward R. LOPEZ

LOPEZ, Edward R. On December 23, 2017 Edward R. Lopez, 59, joined his sisters, Lizzie and Debbie Lopez. His parents, Pupie and Eddie Lopez, also preceded him in death. He worked at Tucson Water as an engineering manager, where many of his co-workers have expressed their gratitude for his friendship and leadership. At home, he enjoyed history and westerns, but his true passions, were in the outdoors. He loved biking, shooting, hunting, camping, golfing, off-roading, and perhaps even weekend yard-work. Survivors include daughters, Nicole E. Lopez, Terez K. Gabrhel (Michael) and Karina R. Nipper (Matthew). Also surviving, are his brother, Richard (Jessie) P. Lopez; sister, Lupita (Ray) Sardina; and our very special "Nana Tia Fina", Delfina Alvarez. His three loving granddaughters, Addy, Senna and Lizzie will miss their big buddy, "Grandfather Edward". Services will be offered Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Parish. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the National Park Service in memory of Edward.
