Patricia A. TAMAYO

TAMAYO, Patricia A. 89, of Duluth and Tucson, AZ, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospice, with her family by her side. Patricia was born August 22, 1927 in Duluth to Leslie and Millicent Randall. She graduated from Duluth Cathedral High School. She married Pete Tamayo at St. Anthony's on April 23, 1955 and they loaded up the car and headed to Tucson, AZ. While in Arizona, Patricia was a member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. When Pete died in 2013, Patricia moved back to Duluth, where she became a member of St. Benedict's Church. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Society; she was an avid reader and she loved to travel, especially to Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Millicent; daughter, Roseanna Tamayo; siblings, Sr. Almira Randall OSB, Mary Ellen (Lou) Parker, Lois Socha and Bud (Monica) Randall. Patricia is survived by her children, Julianne Tamayo, Kevin Tamayo (Debi Grove) and Peter (Karen) Tamayo; granddaughter, Colette Tamayo; sister, Irene Randall; brother-in-law, Joe Socha; sister-in-law, Susie Tamayo and many nieces and nephews: including, Mark, Crystal and Georgie.
