Pierre PEYRON Obituary

PEYRON, Pierre B. went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2017. Born in Tucson, AZ "Stork Nest" on May 9, 1936 to Rafael and Ruth Peyron. A native Tucson descendent of a pioneer family. Pierre was a graduate of Tucson High Class of 1956. His military service began in 1958 and served in the Army Guard, Air Guard and Air Force. He retired in 1984. In 1966 he began his Civil Service career at DMAFB AMARC and retired in 1998. During his time of service he received several award accomodations. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Ruth; sisters, Carol Ornelia, Aurelia Araneta, Socorro Fimbers and brothers, Alex, Albert and Armando Peyron. Pierre is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia; children, Ruthanne, Pierre Jr. (Josie), Rene (Jeanette) and Vanessa Peyron; grandchildren, Angela (Lino) Lopez, Valerie (Michael) Vargas, Katrina, Stephanie and Jacqueline Peyron; great-grandchildren, Maliyah and Hailey Vargas, Lino and Brandon Lopez and sister, Eva Quintero. He liked to travel and was a fan of the UofA Wildcats Basketball Team. Pierre was a loving and caring person and will be missed by his family and friends. Visitation and Rosary Saturday, January 13, 2018 at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) at 8:00 a.m. and Mass at 9:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral. Interment at a later date. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY.

My condolences to the Peyron family. I worked with Pierre at the Air Guard and I always found him to be a happy and pleasant individual. He was also a very good cook!
