L. Rick BERMAN

1929 - 2017

BERMAN, L. Rick Rick went to be with his Lord on June 21, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones at his home. He was born in Los Angeles, CA a 1st generation American on October 10, 1929. After serving in the Army he had a distinguished career in Criminal Justice with the LA County Sheriff's Dept. and US Dept. of Justice. In 1968, he and Delia Prescott were married and share their love for 50 years. They lived in the LA and San Francisco Bay area till they retired to Oro Valley, 24 years ago. He is survived by their five children, Rorie, Brad (Terri), Greg (Tina), Chris (Jeff) and Allen; six grandchildren, Bryan (Adrienne), Chance (Chelsea), Jessica, Aaron, Jenny and Hunter and two great-grandchildren, Sloane and Hudson as well as beloved nephews and nieces. On Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. a Celebration of Life will take place at Vista de la Montana UMC, 3001 Miravista Lane, Catalina, AZ 85739. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roche Scholarship Fund c/o Vista de la Montana Church. Arrangements by DESERT SUNSET CATALINA.
