We have such fond memories of Ferd. He was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable when we shared with him that our little grandsond was going to be born with a cleft palate. We spend many hours discussing the symptoms and our hopes. We also spent some fun times having dinners together and one especialy lovely time in their beautiful home. He and Charlotte were so gracious. And when they came to our house for a party, Jack complimented Ferd on his shirt. He took it right off and gave it to him. Of course he still has it! We will miss Ferd very much.
