George Kulund

George Kulund 2/6/1950 - 4/19/2014 Tucson, Arizona lost a courageous, accomplished, passionate, loving, faithful, unique, wise, humorous, humble, giving, successful individual April 19, 2014. George Kulund died of complications shortly after having open heart surgery. He is predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Rake' and his two brothers, Richard and John. He is survived by his brother, Dan Kulund; his sister-in-law, Sandy and his two nephews, Nicky and David George. George was born in Queens, New York. He served in the United States Army from December 5, 1967 – April 9, 1971 and fought courageously in the Vietnam War. He was awarded a National Defense Service Medal, Prcht Badge, Jump Wings, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Two Overseas Bars, Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 DVC, Combat Infantryman's Badge. After the war he lived an eccentric lifestyle; one that led him off the beaten path. In short, George surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and he was transformed by the grace of God from a homeless drug addict to a polished and powerful preacher. He was an integral member of the Potters House Christian Fellowship and a valued employee of Northwest Exterminating for over 25 years. He was a scholar, talented musician, actor, director and friend but above all he was a faithful disciple to our Lord Jesus Christ and will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege of being in his company.
