Dennis H. SLAGLE

SLAGLE, Dennis H. 6/5/1945 - 9/1/2017 72, born in Miami, OK, he moved to Tucson, AZ in 1990. Survived by children, Joseph (Carolina), Jo Ann, Sandra and Geraldine; four grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and four sisters, Annamarie Lambert, Susie (Clarence) Dupnik, Gladys (Jack) Seery and Grace (Bob) Diego. Preceded in death by his mother, Anna Chiusolo; father, Daniel Slagle and son, Shawn. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1963 - 1968 including a tour in Vietnam. He worked for El Paso Natural Gas Company for 35 years before retiring. Science fiction and Star Trek were his favorite past-time. He also was a longtime member of the VFW, The Legion and Knights of Columbus. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at HUDGEL'S SWAN FUNERAL HOME. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2017 at St. Rita in the Desert Catholic Church, Vail, AZ with Father John Allt officiating. Burial will follow at Arizona Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Marana.
