Frances Lashley Obituary

Frances Margaret Lashley born July 13, 1929, in Santa Rita, New Mexico, lost her battle with cancer, at home, in the presence of her family on April 30, 2014. Her feisty personality and sense of humor kept her in the fight for as long as possible. Frances was preceded in death by her love, Kenneth Eugene Lashley; her parents, Tom and Hilda Benjamin and her sister, Naomi Bodine. She is survived by brother, Harold (Dorothy); daughter, Marilyn McCormick (Mark); son, Lonnie Lashley (Donna). She is also survived by grandchildren, Scott McCormick (Kristina) and Kenna McCormick. Doug Lashley (Tina) and Cody Lashley (Elaine). Her eight great-grandchildren were the joy of her life. We will be celebrating the life of a truly special woman on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Tucson Botanical Gardens, 2150 N Alvernon. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Frances' name to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by HUDGEL'S SWAN FUNERAL HOME.

Frances will be missed by all. My grandmother, Margaret Snook and Frances have been really good friends for many years. Our time spent with Frances was always full of laughs and discussion about the Diamondbacks.
