Tonya Lynn DOYLE

DOYLE, Tonya Lynn Tonya Lynn Doyle was born on November 30, 1937 in the small village of Falconer in upstate New York. Her first eight years of education were spent in catholic school there. After eight years she matriculated to Pennsylvania and graduated from high school in York, Pennsylvania in 1955. She was married briefly and relocated to Cambridge, Massachusetts where she gave birth to her first child. She was divorced and remarried David Doyle who was in the U.S. Air Force. She then spent several years as an Air Force wife, residing on various military bases domestically. As with so many military wives, she did experience the overseas deployment of her husband for thirteen months during 1967 - 1968. During this period she resided in Florida with three young children and unfortunately experienced the miscarriage of twin boys. In 1969 her husband resigned from the Air Force and the family moved to southern California where they resided for 25 years. During this time Tonya worked as a Pharmacy Technician, but her most significant work was as a homemaker and mother with her husband and four children. Tonya and Dave retired to Tucson in 1994 and have resided here ever since. Tonya leaves behind her husband, David; four children; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her life and governing priority can best be summed up by the inscription on her cemetery marker: "Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grammy who put family first." Always! A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the VISTOSO FUNERAL HOME, Oro Valley, AZ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Catalina Catholic Parish, 14380 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ. Interment will follow at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Marana. For information call 544-2285.
