William MARVIN Obituary

MARVIN, William "Bill" F. passed peacefully on December 10, 2016. He is survived by Lori of 37 years; one brother, four daughters, three sons, four sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He served in the military and worked nearly five decades as a government contractor. Bill never met a stranger, he befriended everyone. They knew him, bonded with him, and listened as he awed them with stories, experiences and general silliness. Having grown up in Michigan and studied at the University of Michigan, he vigorously supported "his blue team" to the very end. Memorial Service: Sunday, December 18, 2016, 3:00 p.m. at Vista de la Montana United Methodist Church in Catalina. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Heart Association. Arrangements under the care of VISTOSO FUNERAL HOME.

My deepest sympathy to you and to your family, Lori.

Bill was truly one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever known. I will always remember him.

It was an absolute privilege and honor to work for Bill those early years at MTI. He had such a great work ethic and I learned so much from him. Just watching how he treated others was a Life lesson.

Bill was "one in a million" - a gentle soul and a gentleman - a man who loved life and people; who was passionate about his work, Michigan, always his family...and most of all, his love and admiration for you, Lori. He used to say - his love and support from you was his "raison d'ĂȘtre".

My heartfelt sympathy to you, Lori.

With our deepest sympathy. I worked with Bill at Raytheon, where he was very highly regarded as a colleague and as a fine human being. He will be missed.

Lori,

Bill was the best!! I so much enjoyed being a friend and having had him on my great ANG Team. He always made me feel so calm and relaxed no matter the difficulty of the situation with his approach to life's problems.

I cannot begin to tell you the impact he had on my life. Such a wonderful person who seem to have the happiest life in the world.

I will miss him and forever remember when you and Bill came to Tucson to help me as we began our journey down the road to give the warfighter the very best systems for combat.

Thanks for sharing Bill with me as he was one of the greatest friends and helpers I have ever had. God Bless you and your family.

Warm Regards,

Bob and Wendy Beasley
