I hope the holiday season brought back some happy memories of your life with John. Thank you for your kindness in honoring the memory of our son Caleb. The Advent wreath was a lovely addition to our Christmas tradition and allowed us to think of good times when our son was still sharing life on this earthly plane. I am lighting a virtual candle and thinking about dear John (and YOU). Fondly, Ginn, In Sunny SC

Dear Jenny,
What a very nice photo of John! He looks just as I remember him.
I cherish the memories of the moments and dinners that we had together.
Something so evident was the love you two exuded. Now I truly understand the great pain, and I know you are missing John greatly. With Love, Carolyn

Steve and I were so saddened by John's passing. We feel blessed to have known him but it wasn't nearly long enough. He made a very warm and lasting impression right from the start. There was something so special about Johnny, he was funny, quirky and a totally entertaining, 'gentle'man. Any time in his company was a delight. We join Rob and Jenny in relief that his suffering is over but also in the knowledge that the hole he leaves can never be filled. Rob, keep singing! Jenny, anything we can do...

Over the past 20 years I have been fortunate enough to have built a loving and supportive relationship with my cousins John and Jenny. I have always valued, respected and appreciated their involvement in my life.

While it's important to acknowledge and express the sadness I feel with cousin John's passing, I also want to remember all the happy memories I have of him. I'll always remember his twinkly, smiling blue eyes and the way he chuckled and laughed at things. Listening to him and my dad reminisce about the "old days" was so very entertaining! Cousin John was definitely a happy-go-lucky guy and really seemed to infect everyone around him with cheerfulness.

I will treasure the memories I have of cousin John forever.

Condolences to Jenny, Rob, Julie, Jonathan and Jared and all who knew and loved John.
Jenny, I think we have been friends for about 25 years now. I have treasured our friendship and was glad to get to know John and the rest of the Zalewski clan as well. As your family and friends have stated, John always seemed to be "upbeat" and positive. You had a beautiful marriage which set an example for all to see and admire. I know you will love and miss him always. Be comforted by God's promise that we will see our loved ones again in Heaven. Much love condolences and prayers, dear friend. Call on me whenever you need support and comfort.
Love,
Judi

Remembering all the fun we had - grade school, high school, the long road trip weddings and talking about OLD TIMES. Our families moving to various states and losing touch with each other and FATE found us again. Both of our hearts go out to you Jenny with much love. We all will be together again. It is only a matter of time.

Gary and I are so happy we had the opportunity to know John. We wish peace and comfort for you, Jenny, and all who loved John.

Fun memories of John - plowing the driveway with the car - cutting up the Sunday newspaper with the riding lawnmower going full blast in the yard - running to help Annie Bananie after she got struck by lightening in the kitchen. John was always willing to help. You may have moved from Wisconsin, but we've never forgot the fun days. God Bless. Tom & Ann Roberts

Aunt Jenny,
As you know, Uncle Johnny was very special to me. I have fond memories of riding with him to work at dad's store, both of us, acting silly, singing along to the radio, as we drove down the freeway. His playful, lighthearted manner made people laugh, and I smile every time I think about the crazy nicknames he always gave everyone. Uncle Johnny was someone that brightened up a room wherever he went, and he will be greatly missed.
Thank you for so lovingly taking care of him for so many years. You both had something very special, and he was lucky to have you there by his side.
Love and hugs to you and Rob. I pray that God will comfort you and give you strength in the days and months ahead.

Love, Cindy

I am so grateful that you and John came into our lives. It pleased me to know that John carried Caleb's young, strong kidney with him and kept our son's spirit alive in this way. My heart goes out to you as you walk along this difficult path. <3 - Ginn (and Mark)
