I am so very saddened to learn of Anne's passing. I was reading the lovely article about Lowell in Sunday's paper when I learned that Anne passed away. What a lovely woman she was. I am so sorry for your loss. You and Anne were Wally and my favorite TIA travel companions, I treasure those memories of you both and hope you do too.

I remember Anne as a loving and dear friend of my parents, Tip and Kathy Jackson. She always cared about my two sisters and I and always had a beautiful smile. I have such fond memories of the Rothschilds and our family. I know she's with my parents in heaven.

Our deepest sympathies are extended to the entire Rothschild family. We only met Anne and Lowell once, Thanksgiving last year, but she made a lasting impression. First she told me, "Do NOT call me Mrs. Rothschild... call me Anne or I won't talk to you!" Then she proceeded to regale me with wonderful stories; how she met her husband, how they ended up living in Tucson, etc. Anne was very gracious, warm and lovely. She will be greatly missed by her family.

I will especially remember Anne as a wonderful U of A basketball fan. Lowell and Anne would run into my wife and I on trips to regional and Final Four games. She let the referees know when they made a bad call.
