Penny BENJAMIN

BENJAMIN, Penny Born July 31, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Manford and Irene Willens, Penny (Penelope) Carol Benjamin passed away on the morning of November 1, 2017 at age of 78 after a determined battle with multiple health issues. Penny moved to Tucson in 1968 with her husband, Robert Benjamin. She was a passionate, dedicated, and determined wife, mother and friend to many, with an exuberance for life and family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Robert and survived by children, Cary Benjamin, Jordan Benjamin and Jeannine Mazur. Penny enjoyed a variety of activities including crossword puzzles and computer games, spending days on outings with her sons, Cary and Jordan, watching TV (especially KGUN 9), and reading anything new. She was an avid UofA fan, particularly basketball. Penny loved people and animals, especially her Boston Terrier Annie. Penny was full of class, character, warmth, humor, kindness and sincerity. She will be dearly missed by many. Services will be held at EVERGREEN MORTUARY CHAPEL, Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
