Sending the Parson and Paddock families my sincere sympathies and deepest regards for your loss. May positive memories and a love of family fill your hearts and carry you through this time. To Joe and Clay, Joy and Karen...I will never forget your kindness to my own Dad so many years ago as he began his own transition. Thinking of you all.

He was a very good man , good neighbor and a good friend. We will remember him forever, and already missing his smile and " hello" , sitting on his sofa, with his computer or watching TV , always talking good stories.

Love you ,

John was my first cousin on his mother's side of the family. I did not really have a relationship with him because I lived across the country in Wisconsin and we didn't travel to Arizona and John's family seldom came to Wisconsin. Things changed when Cookie and John came to Wisconsin for an air show held every year in Oshkosh. All of the motels between Milwaukee and Oshkosh were full and Pat and I offered to have John and Cookie stay with us. We had a nice visit and after dinner, Jack (that's what I knew him as) invited our children, Chris and Anne, to fly back to Arizona with him and spend a week. Pat and I must have looked disappointed because he soon extended the invitation to us. It was pretty exciting to fly across the country with cousin Jack piloting the plane. We spend a wonderful week in Marana riding horses, swimming in the indoor pool, and hanging out with the Paddocks. Ever since, we have kept in touch and have made several visits to Tucson that included visits with Jack and Cookie. Jack was a kind and generous man who did not let his physical limitations interfere with having a rich and full life. All of us will miss him dearly and we extend our sympathies to the Paddock family.
Much love,
David, Pat, Chris and Anne Hundhausen

We had some wonderful times with John at Tenmile Lake in Oregon. In fact, John was our "camping" neighbor so we had a chance to really know this extraordinary man. He loved to fish and did so almost everyday. He made a point to visit with everyone at the campground sharing his life and stories. John was a wonderful man and we are truly grateful and blessed to have known him. We will miss him!

I never worked for anyone who treated me better than John. I felt more like part of the family than an employee. Every memory of John causes me to smile. Rest in Peace old friend.
