Michael E. Sanders...what can be said? Pictures of him I have None, Memories of him, I have Tons. Great person, friend and co-worker. Mike, judging by all the pictures that so many family and friends have posted...you were meant to Build. Look at your family, your art work. One word my departed friend. Michael Sanders, what a great individual, co-worker, friend and judging by all the pictures and reading all that's been written...Michael was and is a Towering Soul. I loved the story of your wedding day and lost luggage, married in jeans and flip flops. On this, the anniversary of your pasting...I just want to say that we all miss having near by. You truly were a great friend Michael Sanders. GOD Bless you, your family and continue to RIP my friend. One day, I know I'll see you and as always will need your help with a welding project. Can't think of a Better Man to ask for...except You...always the constant Wingman.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to all the Sanders Family. Mike was an awesome friend and coworker. So easy to get along with and extremely professional. He always made whatever I needed as important to him as it was to me. He was a gentle giant, stood out, not because of his size...but because of who he was, caring, friendly, warm hearted. Rest In Peace my friend and Guard our heavenly skies! You are sorely missed.

Mike you gave me an amazing life. After dating one day short of a year in a half we started our adventure in Hawaii we we married July 10, 1987. It was amazing, they lost our luggage so we were married in jeans and flip flops. Story of our lives. We did everything Hawaii had to offer. Snorkeling, hiking to waterfalls, tour of the pineapple plantation, we toured the entire island. Our life didn't change much, we continued to to keep active with boating, jeeping, paintballing and traveling. We had two beautiful children together Ashley and Joey We also had Kyle from a previous marriage. San Diego was our favorite place to vacation so we tried to go as often as we could. We made sure every year we went to Alabama to visit your family and Austin to visit Ruth and Mark. Skiing was awesome in Texas. We never wanted for more. Life without you has been a lot harder then you can imagine. We have spent everyday together for over 30 years. I am so lost without you. I miss you and love you everyday. I find the heart rocks you do send me that always brings a smile to my face. You have to be so proud of your children, Kyle is doing well and father of 4 children, Ashley is doing great in Phoenix and just bought a bigger house and has made it beautiful. Joey married Corianne and the also bought a house and now are expecting their first child. We all love and miss you!! Love always Drea

Andrea, We've been friends since our high school days at Salpointe. Life has taken us on different paths but a few years ago our paths crossed again thanks to facebook, and one late night telephone call. You invited me over for a Memorial Day party. When I arrived (late of course) I wasn't sure if I was at the right house. When I knocked on the door Mike answered. I asked if you lived there he said "no" and shut the door in my face. A second later he opened the door laughing, with the biggest, sweetest smile. That's when I knew you had a Wonderful life! I am so happy for you my dear friend; you had what many only dream of....a Great marriage! I'm sorry Mike's time was short on this earth; but I know you will be together with him once again in the resurrection. May his memory be eternal! Lots of Love to you and your family.Maria Margaritis ,Andrea, We've been friends since our high school days at Salpointe. Mike was a great friend that I had the honor to serve with in the 162nd Fighter Wing Arizona Air National Guard for over 20 years! He was a great welder and machinist with a great sense of humor and a huge smile! I will always remember his love for life! My sincere condolences go out to the Sander's family.
