Patricia WHITE Obituary

WHITE, Patricia C. age 85, died peacefully on May 30, 2017 with her first granddaughter, Michele by her side. Patricia was born August 12, 1931, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Thomas F. Collins and Elizabeth J. Collins. Patricia loved serving the Lord. She loved her entire family, but especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She looked forward to summers at Camp Pinerock and driving up to the cabin for Nazarene Church Camp. She missed going in 2016. In 1947, Patricia married John Harold White in Phoenix. He had recently returned as a WWII Navy veteran. They were married for 59 years at the time of Harold's passing, 11 years ago. Harold retired from El Paso Natural Gas after working for EPNG in Gila Bend, AZ, Gallup, NM, Williams, AZ, Marana, AZ and Algeria, South Africa for three years. Patricia worked for Marana High School for 10 years in the Accounting Dept. When her first granddaughter was four months old, Patricia was diagnosed with cancer and was told she had three months - two years to live. Her faith was so strong that she knew she would be able to see Michele and all future grandchildren grow up. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas F. Collins and Elizabeth J. Collins; her brother, Thomas Collins and her husband, John Harold White. She is survived by three daughters, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family includes daughters, Catherine (Terry) Green, Evelyn (Bob) Wasik and Patricia (John) Harris. She also leaves behind Cathy's daughter, Michele (Kevin) Sarullo and their children, Presley Kate and Carson Jake, along with Evie's son, Brian (Aya) Wasik and their son, Kento Brian. Also, Trish's daughter, Melissa Giroir Wilt and her son, Edward Anthony Escobar and daughters, Kaylee Lynn Wilt and Katelynn Marie Wilt along with Trish's son, Jeremy (Vanessa) Giroir and their children, Bailey Brooke, Talon Michael and Greyson Crue. She is also survived by her cousin, Charlotte Hickel, age 93 in Salem, WI. She is the only one who knew Patricia from birth to passing. The youngest great-grandson, Kento Brian Wasik was born four weeks ago. The Circle of Life continues. Services are Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene, 500 W. Calle Concordia, Oro Valley. Lunch provided by the church after services. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.

Patricia was a sweet heart. I have known her since 1998 when my husband and I moved back to AZ from Ohio. She and Harold many times sat in front of me in church. She was always talkative person like me and happy and joyful in the Lord. She told me about her wonderful healing from Cancer and she testified of Gods healing and saving grace in her life. She was a amazing lady. It is hard to believe she is gone. I know she is with the Lord and at great peace. I was thinking about her the other day and wish I would of called her a week or so ago. I may not have been able to talk to her but I know I will again some day in eternity. I do wish peace during her service. What a celebration it will be of her life but also there will be pain of losing someone you love. She will be greatly missed by many. I am so glad I knew her and she was my friend. She always made me feel welcome with a hug and kiss on the check. My condolences to the family and May Gods peace rest on you all during her service. I am sorry I can not be there. My heart and thoughts will be there. Love Patricia and Robert Britton.

I have known Patricia for many years when we attend Oro valley Nazarene. She was my friend. My first name is the same as hers. I knew Harold too. She was a wonderful woman who showed Christs love. She was a walking testimony of the healing power of God. I know she is with her Lord and Savior now. I have known Pat for many years. We were good friends, but did not get together with Pat in our later years. Talked to her on the phone from time to time.Pat's husband and my husband worked together at El Paso. We lived across the street from one another Have known the girls all their life. Pat's mom and I had a lot of fun when we would drive into to Tucson to shop. Many memories.
My condolences to the family. Love you all. Helen & Bob Wysner

It has been a long time since I spoke with Mrs. White. I remember her mainly from those great days at First Church. I am sorry for the lost but I am sure that she is in a better place.

I apologize for not making the services. I will be out of state during that time. My prayers and thoughts are with the entire family.
