Patrick Quinn Obituary

Patrick Bryan Quinn Born on June 9, 1961 in Olean, New York, Patrick passed away on April 30, 2014 after a year-long battle with leukemia. He graduated from Utah State in 1993 with a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology. He moved to Tucson in 1995 where he met his wife, Vanessa. They were married in 2001 and had two boys, Nolan and Bryan, now 10 and 8 years old. Patrick was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had a proud and gratifying career with the Tucson Air National Guard. He will be remembered lovingly by his parents, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, and all who knew him. Patrick's family was his biggest priority and he gave it his all. He gave them many beautiful days and years to look back to. These memories will, in time, make the burden of sadness lighter. His life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 17, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Tu Nidito, a non-profit organization helping children cope when a parent has a serious illness, and when children are grieving the loss of a parent. www.tunidito.org Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.

To my friend, co-worker and compadre in the 419th for many years, I am sad that you are gone and I miss your smile, your laughter, your wit, and your unyielding drive to enjoy life every single day....

I am so very sad to find this online today. Patrick was a very close person to me for many years. I moved to Tucson and he was the first friend I had. He took me on my very first hike ever...encouraged me to start running and left me with lifetime wonderful memories. He was so smart, funny, and such a blessing to have as a friend....my heart really aches to see this...Hoping my dad, up there in heaven, is looking after him...

I was a very close friend of Patrick's when he attended Weber State University in Ogden Utah. I am so saddened by his passing. Patrick always shared many fond memories of his family in Wellsville while he was here.

I am very sorry for your loss. I remember growing up always wanting to be like the Quinn boys. Pat and his brothers were great role models for all of us growing up in the West State Street neighborhood. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and Pat's family.

We are so saddened to hear of Patrick's passing. Our prayers are with his family, Vanessa, Nolan and Bryan. We joined St. Mark's at the same time as Patrick & Vanessa (we were in the same membership class together!) and were married within a month of Vanessa & Patrick. We have so many fond memories of get-togethers as young couples, and then as young families with young children. We moved from Tucson 4 years ago and wish with all our hearts we could be at St. Mark's on Saturday to celebrate his life and surround his family with love and support. We will be remembering Patrick and sending our prayers from Canada.
