David Lynch Obituary

David T. Lynch 62, died at home March 26, 2011 of an apparent heart attack. He was born February 20, 1949, in Tucson, Arizona to Helen and Daniel Lynch. David graduated from Pueblo High School in Tucson in 1967 and attended University of New Mexico on a football scholarship. His interests included family and sports. A life-long University of Arizona and Boston Red Sox fan, he also loved music and his favorite band was the Rolling Stones. He worked for Pima County Administrative offices for 26 years and Valley National Bank for 12 years. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Judy; daughter, Jennifer (Cassie Ahrens); son, John David (Leigh Laws); son, Alan Snyder; daughter, Samantha Cruz; sister, Nancy (Jack) Murrieta; nephew, Peter (Aliza) Murrieta and niece, Danielle (Mike) Fergin. He is also survived by grandchildren, Logan Laws-Lynch, Mathew Snyder, Tyler and Kyle Cruz, Amanda Snyder and James Snyder. A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011 at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge.

My Darling Husband, I miss your smile, your sense of humor in a difficult situation, your never ending love of family. I was honored to have 28 years with you my darling. You never let me down, Dave. You were everything to me and our children. Our rock, our confidant, our shoulder to cry on, And the one amazing person we could always laugh with. (And I mean "Gut Laugh") Life will never be the same without you Dave. NEVER. But, with God's blessings, and alot of work on my part, perhaps we will meet again one day. Never ever forget how loved you are! I love you Baby. Rest well and watch over the rest of us until we can join you one day. Your loving wife, Judy xoxoxo

Jennifer, Judy, & J.D.,

I am so sad and sorry to hear about Dave's passing. I have many great memories of hanging out over at Dave and Judy's house during high school. (Jennifer and I were best friends.) Dave and Judy were always so sweet and treated me like one of the family. Your family will always hold a special place in my heart.

David's mother, Helen, was a good friend of my mother's and, as such, we were at the Lynch house fairly often. I was probably in grade school or maybe Jr. High then. Many times, David was there. Although I was a few years younger, he never brushed me off. I remember him showing me his large collection of model cars and describing them to me. Even though he was very popular in high school, he was not conceited. I still remember him taking the time, in the company of his peers, to sign my yearbook. He was such a decent person and, by reading these guest book entries, it's obvious that he continued to be the same nice, funny & fun guy.

My sincere sympathy to his entire family during this very difficult time in your lives.

My Dear Poppie, Words cannot describe how much you will be missed. I have been blessed and honored to call you Dad, friend and confidant. You were always there whenever I needed you, always to lend a shoulder to cry upon or solid words of advice. You NEVER EVER let me down, You ALWAYS made me laugh and gave me courage to get through ANY situation. You were so respected and loved by everyone that knew you. Poppie, you will forever be in our hearts, I shall never forget all that you have done for me and your grandsons. Until we meet again, rest well, I know you'll be watching over us. I love you Poppie

Dave had such an amazing personality. I had the privilege of working with him. Always made the best out of a situation. I learned a lot from him and life will be very different without him. I am sorry for your loss.
May the sorrow you feel in your heart lighten by the love that surrounds you. He will live in our hearts forever.

Dave wore so many hats at work that were outside of his job description...he was our comedian, clock fixer, parking coordinator for the gem show, and even a part time janitor during a water leak. He made us laugh each and everyday. I always admired his keen sense of fashion, particularly his pink long sleeve button up shirt. My heart and prayers go to his lovely wife he spoke fond of and the rest of his family. We certainly feel the void at work. Dave is sorely missed! God bless you and may God's peace surround you during this time.

Dave algreat sense ways had a smile on his face, a twinkle in his eye, and a of humor. His loved his family, sports, and was never afraid to speak his mind. He will be missed, and as one Irishmen to another, I have an Old Irish Blessing for Dave and his family. "May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, The sun shine warm upon your face, The rain fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again May God hold you in the hollow of his hand".
