Finley Stamback Obituary

Finley Max Stamback 89, resident of Willcox, AZ and veteran of the Korean War went home to be with our Lord on May 9, 2014. Max was born to the late Charles and Susie Stamback in Halstead, Kansas on March 23, 1925. He married on June 15, 1949 and moved his family to Arizona in 1960. He lived in Avra Valley with his family for 31 years before moving to Willcox in 2001. A talented home builder and cabinet maker, Max is survived by his bride of 64 years, Jeanene; daughters, Karen (Norm) and Martha (Tim); sons, Kevin (Kelly) and Farrell (Linda); 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, plus many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his seven brothers and sisters, his son, Tim and his grandson, Jesse. Services will be held at Victory Baptist Church in Willcox, AZ on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.

I feel so honored to have been able to spend a lot of my childhood around max and his family. Max will be missed,but not forgotten. Mornings plucking chicken, picking strawberries, turning handle on the ice cream churn, and even being included on family vacations. Thank you Max for all the good memories!!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Max had such a wonderful personality and such a great cabinet maker. We always think of Max when we see his work in our house.

we are so sorry to hear of Max's death. we haven't seen him in years but his memory is very alive in us. what a great guy he was, I'm sure he's having a great time in heaven right now. Our hearts go out to the family.
