Frances WAINWRIGHT

1927 - 2017

WAINWRIGHT, Frances (Fried) went to be with our Lord on December 27, 2017. She was born on a farm in southern Minnesota on July 18, 1927 to Harry and Hilda McKay. She attended high school in Harmony, MN and graduated in 1945 where she then went on to a business college in Winona, MN. While working at a department store there as a bookkeeper she met and married Myron L. Fried. They had one daughter, Lisa. They moved to Arizona due to her mother-in-law's health and she worked as a cashier at Sears for approximately 39 years until she retired in 1993. Her husband passed away in 1983. After three years of retirement she went to work for TUSD in an elementary school kitchen. In 2002 she married Maurice "Dick" Wainwright. She is survived by her husband, daughter, Lisa Heltemes (Mark); grandsons, Jason and Joshua Gyarmathy; great-grandson, Peter and step-great-grandson, Charlie; sisters, Marjorie Johnson and Marilyn Ludens; brother, Chester McKay of Minnesota and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Casa de la Luz and Famiglia Amore for their wonderful care. Memorial Services will be held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deacons at Immanuel, the Community Food Bank, and Youth On Their Own. Arrangements are with ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
