Dear Cheryl and Family,
We knew you only a few years at Prince of Peace before you left for AZ. In that time we felt Fred's love, passion, and grace, consequently, he was never forgotten in our hearts.
Our sympathy and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Wood Family,
I do not know you, but I worked with Fred on the Campus Christian Center board. He cared very deeply for students & youth and was a great asset to the Center.
During our time of serving together he learned of a very difficult, personal problem I was dealing with and reached out to me. He was very supportive and caring & I will remember him for that always. He would also share news of his family with me with joy & pride. He was a loving, family man who touched many. My sympathies to each of you on your loss.

My favorite "Fred story" is the time he drew a blank when it was time for the benediction at the end of the service. After a short silence Fred said "Mort?" and Mort Hickman got him started. My deepest condolences to Cheryl and the kids and grandkids.

May God's peace comfort and surround you during this time of grief and loss. I want you to know how much I cherish the many years and memories of Fred and all of you, my church family, during my time as a youth at Immanuel. I cannot express how important Fred was to me and how important he was in the maturation of my faith. Praise God for Fred and how he administered His grace and love to others!
