Jeannie SIERRAS

SIERRAS, Jeannie passed away January 29, 2017, from complications of debilitating lung disease. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived a full life and will be dearly missed by her husband and family. She was born in Maastricht, Limburg, Netherlands on August 15, 1941 to Piet Bex and Hubertina (Smeets) Bex. She moved to Tucson in 1960. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Eugene; her son, Martin True, three grandchildren, Danielle Pederson (Tony), Ashley True (Jesse), Ryan True and two great- grandchildren, Nathan and Skyler. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Eddy and Kelly and nine step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her youngest son, Robin True. She and Eugene raised granddaughter, Ashley from the age of four months. She was eagerly looking forward to the birth of her third great- grandchild from Ashley this August. She was a loving surrogate mother to Ashley who remains one of the great joys of her life. Jeannie had numerous friends who treasured her friendship because of her effervescent personality. She was always gracious, caring and sometimes outspoken in a charming manner. During her 29 years as a single mother she raised her two boys, traveled extensively and pursued a great many interests which kept her occupied and always ready to explore new horizons. "Tot Ziens my beloved until we meet again". Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. Burial will follow at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Marana, 15950 N. Luckett Road at 1:00 p.m.
