To Nina and all the family,
I'm so sorry for your loss and can only imagine how much you will miss Nick. My most outstanding memory of him was when he was in our wedding party at St. Francis de Sales church in Geneva in August, 1956. Needless to say, he was handsome (almost as handsome as my husband, Tony, who was one of his numerous cousins)! Please accept my sincere condolences.

Your Dad was my professor and advisor at UofA where I majored in Operations Management. I followed my major and retired as Global Supply Chain Director for Northrop Grumman. Your Dad took a young, lost kid and guided me to successfully graduating. I'm not sure I knew he worked for GE in Pittsfield. My Dad did too so it was where I was born. I will be posting his passing in LinkedIn because everybody read his Operations Management book, and were wiser for it. Thank you for sharing his life with us.

Nick was a great guy. He was fun and loving and we enjoyed having Thanksgiving dinner with him and his family. He loved Diane's lasagna which is funny since she is not Italian. We also liked having dinner with him and friends on Friday night at Golden corral, we would set and talk for hours. We will mess him dearly.

Nina, I do remember you sharing family stories when we worked together at Marshall. His legacy will certainly sustain all of you during this difficult time.

I had the honor of being Nick's friend, colleague and coauthor of his operations management book. He was a very nice person as well as being very smart. We were in graduate school together at UCLA and Nick helped me get a job at U of A when I was desperate to leave the cold winters of central Pennsylvania. We had great times with him and his family in Arizona and I am very sad that he is no longer with us. My deepest condolences to Nina, Kara, Don, and Mark.
