I had the privilege of having Scott as my neighbor and friend for 15 years. He was ALWAYS willing to lend a hand, no matter the need.
Some of my fondest recollections are sitting outside with Scott on Halloween evenings together passing out candy to the kids.

Thank you Charish for the great photo of Scott. Most of us at Harelson saw him with his hat on 99% of the time. Good one. Many of us still miss him...

Scott was a very gentle and kind person with a wacky sense of humor. He and I both loved to bike around Tucson. When I moved to Gallup he biked up there one week to visit. I'm very grateful for the times we spent together. Gail McDonald, Tucson

Thank you Scott for everything that you did for Cross/Harelson. You always had a smile for everyone and always gave your best. I'll always treasure the 'Marvin the Martian' wood cutout that you gave me. It will always hang in my office to remind me of the gentle soul that thought to give it to me.
We pray that God will give your family the peace that they will need to comfort them in the loss of their dear Scott.

Scott,
You always worked so hard and kept our campus looking so beautiful. You were always so nice and kind to everyone and I am going to miss seeing you every morning driving your "green machine." It is not the same without you.

Scott was always around in the morning when I'd be heading to a classroom. He'd stop what he was doing, say hi and generally chuckle about something with me. That simple act of kindness helped set the tone for the rest of my day.
You went to soon my friend. God bless.

Scott,
You were such a kind and quiet person, who worked so dilligently each day at Harelson. You took a lot of pride in making our school beautiful.
You always had a smile and polite good morning for everyone.
I remember all the years you helped with delivering packages to our Christmas families in the District. Those were fun days.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers and have my deepest sympathy for their loss and ours.
