Sheila McMahon NORRIS

1955 - 2017

NORRIS, Sheila McMahon 61, passed away on April 1, 2017 in Tucson, AZ. On September 7, 1955 in Iowa City, IA, she was the first of eight children born to Katy and Bill McMahon, who moved their family to Tucson in '61. Sheila attended St. Cyril Parochial School, graduated from Catalina High with the class of '73, and received her degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona in '77. An avid outdoorswoman, she could often be found running, hiking, or skiing with her husband, John, whom she met during their work at Hughes/Raytheon and married in '84. She is preceded in death by sister, Kathleen; father, Bill; and husband, John. She is survived by mother, Katy; sisters, Susan and Patricia (Daryl); brothers, Mark, Mike, Tim (Jill), and Dan (Karla); daughters, Sarah and Carla (Jon); and a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be at ADAIR'S DODGE CHAPEL at 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with Eulogy at 6:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Cyril Parish at 4725 E. Pima St., on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Sheila will be interred at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery in All Faiths Memorial Park at 2151 S. Avenida Los Reyes, with reception to follow at a family home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sheila's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
