Ii just found out of Wilson's passing. I was so sorry to hear of it. He was such wonderful person with a personality that was fabulous. I know he will be missed by all that knew him.

I found Wilson to be a kind and gentle soul.He was an expert in his field and always willing to share his experiences and knowledge with others. I truly enjoyed talking sports with him and sharing stories about our families. I extend my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends during this time of loss. May God comfort and keep you always.
A great friend and colleague whom will be missed.

Had the pleasure of reducing waste with Wilson with RISE Recycling, Freecycle, the most awesome Race for the Cure Recycling Team and on the Tucson Clean and Beautiful board... My condolences.

During the early years of the Garbage Project I was lucky enough to spend a great deal of time working and socializing with Wilson. He was a great friend and mentor. I remember many lunches at Georgie's, beer drinking contests at Gentle Ben's, softball games, and many hours working on sorting and coding garbage. He was kind and thoughtful and a wonderful person - my thoughts are with his family.

I was lucky to have been one of Wilson's students in the Garbology Project ( 1975 or 76). He had such a sense of humor and loved training us to be exacting researchers - in our white lab coats, rubber gloves and surgical masks - counting, weighing and recording every tissue, produce scrap and empty container! It was a pleasure to have spent that semester with him. My thoughts to you. Rebecca Carlton
