Betty Jo Hanson

Betty Jo (Shaw) Hanson 10/3/1932 - 4/2/2011 Born in Pawnee, OK moved to Coolidge, AZ at five years old with her parents, Ray and Madge Shaw and eight siblings. Saturday, April 2, 2011, Betty Jo was taken up into the arms of our Lord after a long struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She never complained about this debilitating disease. She was a selfless, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and devoted Christian. Survived by her husband, Wayne Hanson; and her siblings, Mary Hibberd and Curtis and Charlie Bill Shaw. Betty is also survived by her children, Cammy Mueller (Terry), Tony Freeland (Rhonda) and Zack Freeland (Dena); and stepchildren, Wayne Jr., Carol Everett (Steve), Jeannie Peacock (Sarge), Margaret "Muggs" Hanson (Kelvin Helmick), Nancy Zbyszinski. She was the loving grandmother to 20 and great-grandmother to ten. She was an inspiration to all of us, Proverbs 31:10-31. Betty Jo will be forever loved and missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Arthritis Foundation would be appreciated. Memorial to celebrate Betty's life will be Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church at Tubac, 2242 W.
