Mary Fierro Obituary

Mary E. (Roberts) Meehan Fierro 82, of Tucson, Arizona, and formerly of North Adams, MA passed away on May 16, 2014 supported by all her children and friends. She was born in North Adams, MA on January 8, 1932, daughter of Joseph T. and Mary (O'Neil) Roberts. She graduated from St. Joseph's High School and entered the work force where she worked various business environments throughout her career. She enjoyed and worked hard at raising her family, enjoyed the outhdoors, camping, fishing, bowling, her basketball, her cats and especially her Max. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Shaun and Debbie Meehan; daughter, and son-in-law, Diane and George Deeb; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Gary Marston; son, Martin Meehan, and all of Tucson, Arizona; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Manson, and Marcel Remillseveral ard both of North Adams; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Roberts; spouse, Philip Meehan, and George Fierro; three brothers, Joseph Roberts, Ernest Roberts, William Roberts, and sister, Helen Richard. A Mass will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:00 in the morning at Corpus Christi Parrish in Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the AMDF (American Macular Degeneration Foundation). Mary now breathes with comfort and watches over all with great eyesight. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE, HEATHER CREMATION & BURIAL.
