Mary Jane Dresner Obituary

Mary Jane "Jaye" Dresner Jaye passed away peacefully at age 75. She was surrounded by family and friends. Jaye was born to Edward and Margaret McGuinness in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jaye graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy, where she was a member of Kappa Delta and president of Kappa Epsilon. Jaye moved to Tucson in 1988. She worked at Drug Emporium and Fry's Pharmacy. Jaye was dedicated to the Catholic Church and was active in the Newman Center. She was an avid bridge player and reader. She is survived by her two daughters, Margo and Joanne (Eric Saneholtz); her sister, Joan (Dr. Anthony Vuturo); her grandchildren, Duncan, Kekoa and Maura Catherine; her nieces and nephews, Jenny, Jane, Steven, Matthew and Kate. Jaye was the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend one could ever have. She left our lives much too soon and will be forever remembered and missed. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul's Food Pantry (St. Cyril's Church), the Community Food Bank, or Peppi's House (Hospice) care of Tucson Medical Center. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE HEATHER MORTUARY.
